Go for a hike on the Sand Spring Trail, and Blue Marsh Lake is a magnificent place to visit for more than one day, Shady Grove Campground is a magnificent place to camp nearby. At Blue Marsh Lake throughout the summertime highs are in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows sink down to the 60's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's; through the dark hours in the winter at Blue Marsh Lake temperatures plunge to       the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. While you're here at Blue Marsh Lake, you could also go to beautiful Fox Lake, and folks from Reading love to come here. If you're a golfer then a fine nearby course is Village Golf Course, and Reading Crowne Hotel is a splendid place to get some rest. If you want a good time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Blue Marsh Lake. Going for a hike on the Horseshoe Trail is always a perfect adventure; fine skiing                  awaits you at Blue Marsh. There are good places to discover along the Klines Path; good water scenery is available at Blue Marsh Dam near Blue Marsh Lake. Wyomissing Borough Pool is a nearby lake that you could go to; Hillcrest Campsite is a good campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful.
