If you're here at Blue Marsh Lake and you like golf, you can have a look at Village Golf Course, and after a long day outdoors Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites READING is a wonderful place to spend a night or two. A magnificent place to camp here at Blue Marsh Lake is Hillcrest Campsite, and Blue Marsh is a great local       ski area. During the summer at Blue Marsh Lake temperatures are generally in the 80's. Summer overnight lows descend down to the 60's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Blue Marsh Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Klines Path, and a lake close by is Wyomissing Borough Pool. Don't leave Blue Marsh Lake without first going for a hike along the Sand Spring Trail, and Plum Creek is                  one of the streams nearby that might be worth visiting. Blue Marsh Lake is a wet location that gets lots of precipitation; throughout May this area sees the most rain; February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful. There are plenty of people from Reading here at Blue Marsh Lake, and going for a hike on the Horseshoe Trail is always a delightful adventure. Man, is there plenty of entertaining things to do near Blue Marsh Lake.
