check out and Blue Heron Lake is good enough to spend more than a day at, Timothy Lake Resort is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. A visit to Pecks Pond Picnic Area rejuvenates the soul and whitewater paddling is
great on Bush Kill Creek. If you came to camp Ken's woods Campgrounds is a good place to do that and paddling on Shohola Creek is so much fun. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this area. This is a good area for people who like lakes,
Hemlock Lake is a lake around here and after a long day outdoors Fernwood Hotel and Resort is a good place to spend a night or two.

During summer here at Blue Heron Lake, high temperatures
get into the 70's with night time lows in the 50's. In winter the highs are usually in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Blue Heron Lake are in the 10's. From a precipitation point of view Blue Heron Lake is a pretty normal place, of all the months in a year May is the one with the most rain, February meanwhile is the driest month.
