High temperatures at Blacks Lake during the days of summer are in the 80's, and during the night it cools down to the 50's. While       you're here at Blacks Lake you can take a hike along the Ash Ridge Spur, and La Hacienda Inn is a brilliant location to get some rest. If you come at the right time of year, Towanda Creek - South Branch offers some good whitewater, and Mountain Lake Hotel is a brilliant campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Irish Settlement Trail; do have a look at Shores Pond, it's a beautiful lake. Have a magnificent hiking adventure along the                  Fox Hollow Spur, and if you're here you can play some golf at Towanda Country Club. A common amount of precipitation falls here at Blacks Lake; June is the month that gets the most rain, and January is the month with the least moisture. If you need a site to stay Comfort Inn Towanda is a perfect choice, and during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Sayre for sure. This is no location for people who don’t like to have fun.
