A lake nearby is PA-463 Reservoir, and dry warm beds await you at Shadowbrook Resort. For you golfers we recommend close by Buck Hill Falls CO Golf Club; do pay a visit to Delaware National Scenic River while you're here at Birch Lake. Yep, outdoors fun things to do are really abundant here at Birch Lake. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Burley Inlet       Trail; Buck Hill Creek is in the vicinity of Birch Lake and is always a pleasure to explore. Leavitt Branch Dam has perfect water scenery and it's next to Birch Lake; a short visit to Buck Hill Falls is always worthwhile. There's no such thing as a bad day of skiing at nearby Alpine Mountain; at Birch Lake you can catch a glimpse of Pine Knob. For the period of the warm months here at Birch Lake, high temperatures commonly reach the 70's. When the night sets                  in temperatures fall down into the 50's. During the wintertime highs are mostly in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the wintertime temperatures at Birch Lake dip into the 10's. You just should fancy Birch Lake. Glide down the rapids of Wallenpaupack Creek - East Branch in a kayak, obviously you could also go to Deer Lake if you're here; it's not far at all. This lake is so wonderful. Take a hike on the Snow Shanty Trail, and get covered with water paddling on Paradise Creek. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Boundary Trail, and a great spot to camp here at Birch Lake is Lindenmere Sports & Arts center. Lots of people from East Stroudsburg come to Birch Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Skytop Lodge is a splendid choice. Mount Airy Lodge has magnificent slopes and a friendly staff; camping is available at Maple Rock Campsite. The high level of rainfall makes Birch Lake a pretty wet spot; June is the wettest month with most rain while February is regularly the driest month.
