A visit to Billings Pond is always a good idea. Get drenched paddling on Lackawaxen River, and Delaware National Scenic River is a brilliant site nearby. The Lodge at Woodloch is a splendid spot to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Billings Pond has to offer, you can camp at Camp Watonka. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a location to stay The Lodge at Woodloch is a perfect choice, and if you like skiing, you're in luck; Ski Big Bear is quite near. Going for a hike along the Crawford Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and Cricket Hill Golf Club is a golf course close by. Beaver Swamp is right close by. There's so much to do here at Billings Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Camp Shohola is a tremendous location for that.
The Blooming Grove Trail is a tremendous hiking trail in the neighborhood
of Billings Pond; why not a little side visit to Billings Creek. If you like the outdoors, you'll have a thing about Billings Pond. You can take a little spree to Billings Pond Dam while you're here at Billings Pond. The snow is wonderful
at Tanglwood, and you can see Bald Hill from Billings Pond.
Through the warmest time of the year at Billings Pond temperatures are generally in the 70's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. Highs
all through the winter are commonly in the 30's; after the sun is down during the winter temperatures at Billings Pond plunge into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is wonderful on Shohola Creek, and if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Steam Mill Trail.
