High temperatures at Bigan Pond through the days of summer are in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Bigan Pond. Bigan Pond gets a common amount of annual precipitation; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest.       Having a nice time at Bigan Pond is painless. After a long day outdoors T J's Hotel is a tremendous spot to spend a night or two, and camping at Bigan Pond is good fun, Pine Oaks Camp Ground is a good local campground. Bigan Dam has wonderful water scenery and it's near Bigan Pond; swing by Sandy Run it's a pleasant location to visit. Here at Bigan Pond there are plenty of people from Johnstown; whitewater paddling is good on Clear Shade Creek. The Wolf Rocks                  Trail is a fine hiking trail next to Bigan Pond, and on a brilliant day you can take a hike along the Old '56' Trail. There is a great hiking trail near Bigan Pond called the Lost Turkey Trail; Woodland Park is a nice campground here. This lake is so wonderful.
