Why not stop by Bigan Pond if you're passing through these parts. Bigan Pond is a good spot of common rain; all through July this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. High temperatures at Bigan Pond all through the warm months are in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Bigan Pond.

| | is for outdoors folks. Go for a hike on the Wolf Rocks Trail, and Bigan Pond is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Woodland Park is a fine local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Pine Oaks Camp Ground is a good site to do that, and whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then, we recommend Clear Shade Creek. Inn Johnstown.
After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn & Suites is a tremendous location to spend a night or two, and there's whitewater on Roaring Fork for all you adrenaline rush seekers. Some of the water nearby flows, like Sandy
Run, and you don’t have to go far from Bigan Pond to distinguish the water at Bigan Dam. Don't leave Bigan Pond without first going for a hike along the Lost Turkey Trail; during your tour here you'll meet some folks from Johnstown for sure.
