Big Spring Pond is always a pleasure to visit. A day on the slopes of Tanglwood is just what you need; Secluded Acres Campground is a good campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Big Spring Pond without first going for a hike along the Boundary Trail; you'll meet a lot of people from East Stroudsburg here. In the event that you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary, and if you

| | need a location to stay Comfort Inn Hamlin is a delightful choice. Now, you may feel that's a lot but there's even more enjoyable stuff to do here at Big Spring Pond. There's pleasant hiking along the Brown Trail, and a lake close by is Cobb Pond. Whitewater paddling is great on Wallenpaupack Creek, and if you came for an overnight stay Lake Mocatek Campground is a perfect location to camp. amount of rain; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop at Butler Pond since you're here at
Big Spring Pond; it's close by, and dry warm beds await you at Caesars Cove Haven. Through the warm days of summer at Big Spring Pond temperatures are generally in the 70's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures sink
down into the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and overnight lows at Big Spring Pond all through the wintertime ordinarily descend into the 0's.
