Joseph Martin Golf Club is a magnificent golf course nearby, and Avalon Hotel is a great place to get some rest. For the duration of the warm months at Big Pond highs are typically in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 60's. Through the wintertime highs are generally in the 30's; overnight lows in the 10's for Big Pond. I don't want to stop, cause I'm       havin' a fine time here at Big Pond. Elk Creek is a wonderful whitewater spot near Big Pond; if you get bored of Big Pond you could also have a look at nearby Cranberry Pond. This lake is so wonderful. It's a great idea to stop by Mill Creek, it's in the vicinity of Big Pond; there's some exciting stuff to catch a glimpse of at Eire Turning Basin right next door to Big Pond. Camping is available at Lampe Marina Campground, and Big Bend is an exciting place                  to go to while at Big Pond. Big Pond is a good site of normal rain; most of the rain falls all through September while January is frequently the driest month. Ridge Pond is a nearby lake that you could take a look at, and don't forget to visit Crystal Point since you're here. You can run the rapids of Walnut Creek in close proximity to Big Pond, and camping at Sara's Beachcomber Campground is always a great experience.
