If you like lakes and you're in this part of Pennsylvania you can check out Big Pond. Near Big Pond you discover the Sawmill Trail which is a delightful hiking trail, and if you came for an overnight stay Devils Alley Campground is a tremendous spot to camp. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Carnes Trail is always a wonderful adventure, and paddling on Town Creek is so much fun.

| | is a brilliant local campground; you could always discover Summerville Gap. Get wet paddling on Flintstone Creek; if you need a spot to stay Rocky Gap Lodge is a good choice. This lake is so wonderful. A good nearby hotel is Mountain View Motel & Apts, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop at close by Little Pond.

why not take a little spree to Lost Run since you're here. Big Pond is a good spot of common precipitation; the month with most of the rain is July while January is mostly the driest month. Throughout the summertime at Big Pond highs
are usually in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Big Pond.
