and at Big Boulder Dam in the neighborhood of Big Boulder Lake there are some interesting things to see. Lehigh River is a splendid whitewater spot in the vicinity of Big Boulder Lake, and on a great day you can take a hike along
the Boulder Field Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Tudor Inn is a wonderful site to get some rest, and striking scenery and great skiing is what you acquire at Big Boulder. During the months of summer here at Big Boulder Lake,
high temperatures commonly reach the 70's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Big Boulder Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter
nights. Big Boulder Lake is a wet site that gets a good deal of precipitation; during August this area sees the most rain; the driest of the months is February. This lake is so wonderful. There is a great hiking trail in the vicinity of Big Boulder Lake called the Refuge Trail, and a short trip to Tobyhanna Falls is always worthwhile.
