the 20's, and overnight lows all through the winter for Big Boulder Lake tend to be in the 10's. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff in the neighborhood of Big Boulder Lake will keep you coming back again and again. Get drenched paddling
on Tunkhannock Creek, and there are plenty of people from East Stroudsburg here. A great close by hotel is Best Western Inn At Blakeslee Pocono, and Big Boulder is a fine local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave
Big Boulder Lake without first going for a hike along the Refuge Trail; a short visit to Tobyhanna Falls is always worthwhile. Big Boulder Lake is a wet site that gets a good deal of rainfall; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February.
