Go to Big Bass Lake if you want to go to a nice lake. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Tunkhannock Creek, also Big Bass Lake Dam is worth taking a look at if you're here. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Big Bass Lake; Refuge Trail is a good local trail, and Big Bass Lake is a pleasant place to camp, WT Family Camping is a pleasant place. Henry Lake is in the vicinity of Big Bass Lake, and there's whitewater on Wallenpaupack Creek for all you adrenaline junkies. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Choke Creek Trail, and if you need a spot to stay Sahara Inn
is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. A good swamp near Big Bass Lake is Kistler Swamp, and hey, Gotta ski right? Jack Frost is a wonderful place to do that. Big Bass Lake is a site with many visitors from East Stroudsburg,
and as expected Fritz Run flows through this area. If the weather is wonderful, you acquire a delightful vista of Prospect Rock from Big Bass Lake, and there's magnificent hiking along the Lakeside Trail. At Big Bass Lake through
the summer highs are in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Big Bass Lake are in the 10's.
