Beyea Pond is right by the Brown Trail, and glide down the rapids of Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary in a kayak. This lake is so wonderful. Do go to Beyea Pond Dam if you're here at Beyea Pond; Beyea Pond is wonderful enough to spend more than a day at, Clayton Park Recreational Area is a wonderful local campground.       The amount of rainfall that falls at Beyea Pond is close to the national average; July is the wettest month with most rain, and February meanwhile is the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Boundary Trail, and if you like swamps you're in luck, Silkmans Swamp is right close by. The Lakeside Trail offers hiking at its best, and a day on the slopes of Ski Big Bear is just what you need. If you like skiing, you're                  in luck; Tanglwood is close to Beyea Pond. There's so much to do here at Beyea Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Moc A Tec Campground is a great place for that. But wait, there's more to do in the vicinity of Beyea Pond. Lakes? Sure, Lake Ariel is in close proximity, and if you come at the right time of year, Wallenpaupack Creek offers some delightful whitewater. During the warm months, highs regularly are in the 70's at Beyea Pond. All through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. Throughout the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with temperatures at Beyea Pond dipping down into the 10's throughout winter nights. Just can't get enough of Beyea Pond.
