Beautiful Beltzville Lake has much to offer visitors. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Lizard Creek; why not a little side trip to Berry Run. This lake is so wonderful. There are glorious sites to look at along the Refuge Trail; if you have time to spare, Delaware & Lehigh National Heritage Corridor is a national park worth taking a look at. All the water falling down from the sky makes Beltzville Lake a wet spot; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. If you love the outdoors, you'll fancy Beltzville Lake. Going for a hike on the Choke Creek Trail is always a pleasant adventure, and Kriss Pines Lake is a
nearby lake that you could have a look at. There are some good whitewater spots on Lehigh River; while you're here you will meet lots of people from nearby Allentown-Bethlehem-Easton. Near Beltzville Lake you find the Boulder Field
Trail which is a nice hiking trail; skiing at Big Boulder is one of those things you just must do.
A wonderful close by hotel is Hampton Inn, and wonderful scenery and magnificent skiing is what you get at Blue Mountain. At Beltzville
Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's. The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 20's while the cold winter nights at Beltzville Lake are in the 10's.
