What a nice lake Belmont Lake is. A lot of rainfall falls at Belmont Lake; June is the month that gets the most rain; February is the month with the least moisture. There's some attention-grabbing stuff to observe at Belmont Dam in close proximity to Belmont Lake, and after a long day outdoors Scranton Pa Days Inn is a delightful place to spend a night or two. Coal Brook is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit, and skiing at Montage Mountain

Dry warm beds await you at Scranton-Days Inn Dunmore. There's so much to do here at Belmont Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Valleyview Farm and Campground is a great spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. All through the summertime months, highs generally are in the 70's at Belmont Lake while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. 20's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Belmont Lake descend into the 10's.
Very beautiful scenery and magnificent skiing is what you get at Elk Mountain, and if you don’t have a problem getting wet,
you can always go whitewater paddling on Middle Creek - Lackawaxen Tributary. If you love the outdoors, you'll fancy Belmont Lake. Belmont Lake is not the only place nearby, Edgerton Reservoir is a nearby lake, and Panorama Golf Course
is a golf course close by. This lake is so wonderful. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Belmont Lake has to offer, you can camp at Keen Lake Camping and Cottage Resort; Lackawanna River is a tremendous whitewater spot nearby.
