What a nice lake Behren Pond is. This lake is so wonderful. A great spot to camp here at Behren Pond is Lehigh Gorge Campground; if the weather is perfect, you can go for a hike along the Choke Creek Trail. Some of the water nearby flows, like Geneceda Creek, and if you're here and you like golf, you can go to Alfortene Golf Links. Don't miss out on a wonderful swamp; McKean Swamp is right here at Behren Pond, and at Behren Pond you can make out Wyoming Mountain.

Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Lehigh River, and Best Western East Mountain Inn & Suites is a brilliant place to get some rest. The Refuge Trail is a glorious hiking trail close to Behren Pond, and lakes are such serene places, why not have a look at Buck Pond.

tremendous whitewater, and close by you hit upon the Pinnacle Trail which is a fine hiking trail. Skiing at Montage Mountain is one of those things you just must do, and dry warm beds await you at Red Roof Inn Wilkes-Barre. For the
period of the summer highs here at Behren Pond reach the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures throughout the wintertime are normally in the 20's, and nighttime lows in the 10's for Behren
Pond.
If you go for the outdoors, you'll fancy Behren Pond. Eikes Pond Dam is a spot that is in close proximity to Behren Pond, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Jack Frost if you're here. An average
amount of rainfall falls at Behren Pond; the month with most of the rain is July, and the driest month of the year is January. Why not camp at Whitewater Raft Campground while you're here at Behren Pond; you're sure to encounter some friendly folks from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre here.
