by Eikes Pond Dam since you're here.
This lake is so wonderful. Why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Alfortene Golf Links; nearby you discover the Refuge Trail which is a perfect hiking trail. Why not explore
close by Geneceda Creek since you're here at Behren Pond, and do explore Meadow Run Lake, it's a pretty lake. Going for a hike on the Pinnacle Trail is always a great adventure.
Behren Pond is a good spot of normal precipitation;
most of the rain falls throughout July while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. If you're stopping by Behren Pond from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre, you won't be the only one, and if you
need a spot to stay Best Western East Mountain Inn & Suites is a nice choice. The snow is delightful at Jack Frost; if you come at the right time of year, Lehigh River offers some good whitewater.
