Behren Pond gets a common amount of annual rain; of all the months in a year July is the one with the most rain, and January meanwhile is the driest month. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Jack Frost, and Eikes Pond Dam is a striking spot. This lake is so wonderful. Nearby lakes? Sure, Buck Pond is close to Behren Pond; the Pinnacle Trail offers hiking at       its best. Some of the water nearby flows, like Geneceda Creek. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious close by hotel is Best Western East Mountain Inn & Suites; you're sure to encounter some cheerful folks from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre here. Bear Creek is a perfect whitewater spot next to Behren Pond; needless to say, this is a glorious neighborhood for folks who like lakes, Bear Creek Lake is a lake in close proximity. Sandy Valley Campground is a great local                  campground; splendid hiking is available along the Choke Creek Trail. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at Behren Pond. There's perfect hiking along the Refuge Trail; the snow is good at Montage Mountain. A round of golf at nearby Alfortene Golf Links is a great way to kill some time, and in case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Lehigh River. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the amusing things at Behren Pond. Red Roof Inn Wilkes-Barre is a brilliant location to get some rest, and there are swamps here too, McKean Swamp is around here. Summertime highs at Behren Pond usually tend to be in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows plunge down to the 50's. During the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's while Behren Pond overnight low temperatures during the wintertime are in the 10's.
