Paddling on Mehoopany Creek is so much fun, and why not a little side spree to Bean Run. Whitewater paddling is fine on Kitchen Creek, and do check out Mount Spring Dam if you're here. Now, you may think that's a heap but there's even more entertaining stuff to do here at Beech Lake. For you golfers we recommend nearby Sweet Valley Golf Course. There's so much to do here at Beech Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Red Rock Mountain Campground is

| | a wonderful place for that. From a precipitation point of view Beech Lake is a reasonably typical spot; the month with most of the rain is June, and the driest month of the year is January. Wild Fowl Pond is a nearby lake that you could pop by; you can stay the night at Good's Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Do pop by Mount Spring Lake near Beech Lake, it's a charming lake; dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Mifflinville. This lake is so wonderful. | |

place gets highs in the 30's with temperatures at Beech Lake dipping down into the 10's during winter nights. North Mountain can be spotted from Beech Lake, and great hiking is available along the Old Bulldozer Road Trail.
