Bethel Park Campgrounds is a great campground here, and the Wolf Rocks Trail is a good hiking trail close by. Throughout the summer at Beaverdale Reservoir highs are generally in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows fall down to the 60's. Through the winter the highs are regularly in the 30's while Beaverdale Reservoir nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's. And if you're still looking for more       outdoors cool things just keep reading. You can run the rapids of Little Conemaugh River near Beaverdale Reservoir, and West VU Motel is a wonderful place to get some rest. Don't forget to take a magnificent little journey to Bottle Run, and on a fine day you can take a hike along the Lost Turkey Trail. A spree to Bear Wallow is always fun, and during your trip here you'll meet some folks from Johnstown for sure. This lake is so wonderful. Why not visit                  Lloydell Dam while you're here; a magnificent spot for whitewater paddling is Clear Shade Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Camping at Beaverdale Reservoir is brilliant fun, Woodland Park is a brilliant local campground, and while you're here you can take a hike along the John P Saylor Trail. Dry warm beds await you at Cassandra Railroad Overlook; the slopes of Blue Knob are so inviting noone can resist.
