After a long day outdoors Super 8 Delmont is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two; Beaver Run Reservoir is good enough to spend more than a day at, Lazy Acres Campground is a good local campground. An average amount of rain falls at Beaver Run Reservoir; during the month of May you       get the most rain around here; the driest of the months is February. This is a good neighborhood for folks who like lakes. Brook Shore Lakes is a lake in the vicinity. There are some fine whitewater spots on Cowanshannock Creek, and golf can be played at Cherry Wood Golf Course. Summertime brings highs in the 80's to Beaver Run Reservoir.
