Stay the night at Twin Falls Campground; if you've had enough of Beaver Pond, Shehawken Lake is close by. Beaver Pond gets much water; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is February. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Sidney, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Lackawanna River. Beaver Pond is a splendid site to visit for more than one day, Camp Weequahic is a splendid site to camp nearby, and a day on the slopes of Elk Mountain is just what you need. The warmest time of the year at Beaver Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's. Summer night lows fall down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 30's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures | |
