This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Beaver Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Pioneer Campground is a fine place for that, and if you need a place to stay La Hacienda Inn is a wonderful choice. Throughout the summer months highs here at Beaver Pond get into the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. The winter       brings highs down to the 30's with winter lows in the 10's overnight here at Beaver Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at Rocky Valley Campground, and there's whitewater on Little Loyalsock Creek for all you adrenaline people. A lake nearby is Bob Kosts Pond, and you can run the rapids of Loyalsock Creek. The amount of rainfall that falls at Beaver Pond is close to the national average; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain;                  the driest of the months is January. Don't leave Beaver Pond without first going for a hike along the Irish Settlement Trail; after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Towanda is a delightful place to spend a night or two.
