A perfect close by hotel is Comfort Inn Towanda; if the weather is delightful, you can go for a hike along the Irish Settlement Trail. Get soaked paddling on Little Loyalsock Creek, and the Rock Run Trail is a great hiking trail close by. This lake is so wonderful. Glide down the rapids of Loyalsock Creek in a kayak; close by you discover the Fox Hollow Spur which is a good       hiking trail. Beaver Pond is good enough to spend more than a day at, Pioneer Campground is a good local campground; you'll in all probability meet some folks from Sayre here. If you came to camp Rocky Valley Campground is a tremendous location to do that; after a long day outdoors La Hacienda Inn is a great location to spend a night or two.
