After a long day outdoors Caesars Pocono Palace is a magnificent place to spend a night or two, and going for a hike along the Smith Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. A good site to camp here at Beaver Pond is Ken's woods Campgrounds, and everybody nearby loves skiing at Alpine Mountain. Get yourself       into a kayak and hit Brodhead Creek, and lots of people from East Stroudsburg come here. Lakes are such serene places, why not go to Pickerel Lake next to Beaver Pond, and Delaware National Scenic River is a wonderful spot close by. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Beaver Pond, and the night is quite cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. During the winter this place gets highs in the 30's while Beaver Pond overnight low temperatures during the wintertime                  are in the 10's. A quick trip to Beaver Run near Beaver Pond is a delightful idea, and swamps can be such interesting places, go to Big Swamp since you're here at Beaver Pond. This lake is so wonderful. A wooded neighborhood near Beaver Pond is First Forest Tree Planting, and you don’t have to go far from Beaver Pond to make out the water at Beaver Run Dam. Beaver Pond gets a normal amount of annual precipitation; the wettest month of the year is generally May, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is magnificent here at Beaver Pond, you can go for a hike along the Kinney Trail, and Shawnee Mountain is a pleasant local ski area. Why not camp at Outdoor World Timothy Lake since you're here at Beaver Pond. Get wet paddling on Bush Kill Creek, and Twelvemile Pond is a great lake close by. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time.
