For the duration of the long summer days here at Beaver Pond, high temperatures usually reach the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. All through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Beaver Pond. This lake is so wonderful. Beaver Pond is brilliant enough to spend more than a day at, Hemlock Acres Campground is a brilliant local campground,       and Toftrees Resort And Conference Center is a pleasant place to get some rest. Don't try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a good time here at Beaver Pond. There are some perfect whitewater spots on Black Moshannon Creek; there's some flowing water close by, Roaring Run is a stream you can pop by during your stay. You don’t have to go far from Beaver Pond to spot the water at Whipple Dam, and Pine Grove Mills Gap is positively a nice spot to have a look at.                  The amount of precipitation that falls at Beaver Pond is close to the national average; June is when you get the most rain here; the driest of the months is January. You'll meet a lot of people from State College here; going for a hike on the Musser Trail is always a good adventure. This lake is so wonderful. On a perfect day at Beaver Pond you can take a hike along the Kepler Trail. The skiing at Tussey Mountain is splendid, and a splendid place to camp here at Beaver Pond is Hemlock Hideaway Campground.
