If you don't mind getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Black Moshannon Creek, and after a long day outdoors Toftrees Resort And Conference Center is a perfect location to spend a night or two. You just can't picture the amount of outdoors amusing stuff the area near Beaver Pond has to offer. Good hiking is available along the Kepler Trail; not far from Beaver Pond you get some tremendous       water scenery at Whipple Dam. If you came to camp Hemlock Hideaway Campground is a wonderful place to do that, and why not stop at close by Roaring Run while you're here at Beaver Pond. A normal amount of rain falls here at Beaver Pond; the month with most of the rain is June while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Lakes are pleasant; Hutchinson Pond is a lake that's near Beaver Pond; a splendid nearby hotel is Atherton Hotel. This                  is a brilliant region for folks who like lakes. Lake Perez is a lake close by; the skiing at Tussey Mountain is glorious. This lake is so wonderful. There's fine hiking along the Beidler Trail; as expected, A visit to Pine Grove Mills Gap is always fun. Summer at Beaver Pond comes with high temperatures in the 70's with night lows in the 50's. All through the winter highs are usually in the 20's; nighttime lows in the 10's for Beaver Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Beaver Pond that you need to camp here for a while, Hemlock Acres Campground is a great spot for that; the Musser Trail offers hiking at its best.
