Bearwallow Pond is a lake worth visiting. Summertime at Bearwallow Pond arrives with high temperatures in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 60's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's while Bearwallow Pond night low temperatures throughout the winter are in the 10's. From a precipitation point of view Bearwallow Pond is a rather typical spot; all through June this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is January.

if you're here at Bearwallow Pond, and going for a hike along the East Branch Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this neighborhood. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Elk Creek in the vicinity of Bearwallow
Pond, and a spree to Bearwallow Pond wouldn't be complete without taking a look at Buttermilk Falls.
