Bearwallow Pond is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. If you come at the right time of year, Elk Creek offers some nice whitewater, and Bearwallow Pond is a place with many visitors from Sayre. This lake is so wonderful. Stay the night at The Best Beach Campground, and the summit of Browns Vista can be seen from Bearwallow Pond. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a spot to stay Williamsport Super 8 Motel is a good choice, and Buttermilk Falls

Bearwallow Pond gets a typical amount of annual rainfall; of all the months in a year June is the one with the most rain, and the driest month is January. A forest right next door to Bearwallow Pond is Wyoming State Forest; going for a hike on the Hoagland Trail is always a magnificent adventure.

Trail which is a wonderful hiking trail, and a good nearby hotel is Econo Lodge Williamsport. High temperatures at Bearwallow Pond during the summertime are in the 80's. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down
into the 60's. Daytime highs through the winter are in the 30's, and nighttime lows throughout the winter for Bearwallow Pond tend to be in the 10's. Go for a hike on the Dead Horse Trail; some of the water close by flows, like East
Branch Mill Creek.
Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Miners Run, and a short visit to Buttermilk Falls is always worthwhile.
