During the warmest time of the year at Bear Lake highs are generally in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. For the period of the wintertime highs are generally in the 20's; night lows at Bear Lake throughout the wintertime generally drop into the 10's. Lakes? Sure, Grassy Pond is in close proximity, and Lake Greeley       Camp is a glorious campground nearby. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Choke Creek Trail, and you'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Split Rock since you're here. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Bear Lake; Refuge Trail is a great local trail; Big Pine Hill can be spotted from Bear Lake. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things at Bear Lake. Very wonderful scenery and good                  skiing is what you get at Jack Frost, and The Woodlands Inn is a great spot to get some rest. Don't you try to stop me, cause I'm havin' a great time here at Bear Lake. Bear Lake is right by the Boulder Field Trail; go to close by Balsam Swamp. Hagen Run is a stream that you may bump into while you're here, and if you came for an overnight stay WT Family Camping is a brilliant place to camp. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Spring Brook, and Sand Spring is a magnificent local attraction. This lake is so wonderful. There are other places here than Bear Lake, for example Nines Pond, and after a long day outdoors Shawnee Village Resort is a glorious place to spend a night or two.
