There's pleasant hiking along the Appalachian National Scenic Trail; get your pulse rate up on the nice whitewater of Black Creek. All through the long summer days at Bear Creek Reservoir highs are mostly in the 70's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's while the cold winter nights at Bear Creek Reservoir are in the 10's. Bear Creek Reservoir commonly gets much rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
