The beauty of Bear Creek Lake is reason enough to stop by. Bear Creek Dam is not far at all from Bear Creek Lake, and if you've had enough of Bear Creek Lake, Lake Aleeda is close by. If you came to camp Sandy Valley Campground is a great place to do that, and golf can be played at Wilkes Barre Golf Club. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Boulder Field Trail, and whitewater paddling is glorious on Bear Creek.

local campground. This lake is so wonderful. You could also check out Kiel lake while you're here at Bear Creek Lake; it's nearby, and why not head up to Jack Frost and strap some skis to your feet.

Inn & Suites is a tremendous site to get some rest, and this is a popular spot for folks from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Bear Creek Lake; Refuge Trail is a wonderful local trail; a magnificent nearby
hotel is Knights Inn Lake Harmony/White Haven. So much exciting stuff close to Bear Creek Lake, simply striking. There's perfect hiking along the Choke Creek Trail, and swamps can be such interesting locations, pop by McKean Swamp since you're here at Bear Creek Lake.
