Lakes are good; Behren Pond is a lake that's in the vicinity       of Bear Creek Lake. This lake is so wonderful. Knights Inn Lake Harmony/White Haven is a tremendous place to get some rest, and you don’t have to go far from Bear Creek Lake to catch a glimpse of the water at Bear Creek Dam. This lake is so wonderful. On a wonderful day at Bear Creek Lake you can take a hike along the Refuge Trail, and you can run the rapids of Bear Creek. Swamps don’t sound that glorious but McKean Swamp close to Bear Creek Lake is quite                  glorious; you'll meet a lot of people from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre here. Sandy Valley Campground is a perfect campground nearby; you're in all probability hooked on lakes, Antler Lake is one of those nearby. For the duration of the days of summer here at Bear Creek Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 70's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Bear Creek Lake.
