A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Bartron Pond; June is when you get the most rain here, and the driest of the months is January. During the warm months at Bartron Pond highs are ordinarily in the 80's, and through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's while Bartron Pond night low temperatures through the winter are in the 10's.       Bowman Creek has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot nearby; camping at Tunkhannock Koa Kampgrounds is always a good experience. Be careful coming to Bartron Pond, you might not ever want to return back home again. You can distinguish Mount Airy from Bartron Pond, and there's brilliant hiking along the Pinnacle Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Enjoy a round of golf at Shadowbrook Resort Golf Course not far from Bartron Pond. This lake is so wonderful. There's                  some interesting stuff to distinguish at Stevens Lake Dam right next door to Bartron Pond, and Maplehurst Motel is a fine location to get some rest. Bartron Pond is a location with many visitors from Scranton—Wilkes-Barre, and Lake Carey is a nearby lake that you could check out. A great site to camp here at Bartron Pond is Schaffer's Riverside Campgrnd; why not take a little visit to Meade Brook if you're here.
