A visit to Barmore Lake is always a good idea. There are some tremendous whitewater spots on Slippery Rock Creek; Barmore Lake Dam is an exciting thing to check out. For the period of the summer at Barmore Lake temperatures are frequently in the 80's, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's; throughout the dark hours in the wintertime at Barmore Lake temperatures dip to the 10's. This lake is so wonderful.

| | You'll need more than a day to discover everything Barmore Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mercer/grove City Koa; obviously Barmore Run is a beautiful stream that is worth stopping at.

Barmore Lake frequently gets much rainfall; the wettest month of the year is commonly June, that's
the one that rains the most while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a nice time here at Barmore Lake. If you need a site to stay Microtel Inn and Suites Grove City is a good choice, and you're sure to bump into some great folks from New Castle here.
