Why not take a refreshing hike along the Foxs Path. There's so much to do here at Ashland Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Blue Mountain Lakes is a brilliant site for that. Ashland Reservoir is right by the Yellick Path. At Ashland Reservoir you always meet someone from Pottsville, and a fine vista of lovely Ashland Mountain is available.       From a rainfall point of view Ashland Reservoir is a relatively common location; the month with most of the rain is June, and February is the month with the least moisture. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Ashland Reservoir has to offer, you can camp at Red Ridge Lake Campground, and if you need a spot to stay Econo Lodge Frackville is a glorious choice. So much fun stuff to do at Ashland Reservoir, so little time. Mountain Shadow Lake is a                  great lake next to Ashland Reservoir; you can take a little trip to Ashland Reservoir Dam while you're here at Ashland Reservoir. The Werts Path offers hiking at its best; a quick spree to Shenandoah Creek is positively a great idea. This lake is so wonderful. Get yourself into a kayak and hit Nescopeck Creek, and great skiing awaits you at Blue Marsh. There are some nice whitewater spots on Black Creek; Rodeway Inn Frackville is a brilliant site to get some rest. For the duration of the warmest time of the year highs here at Ashland Reservoir get into the 80's. Summer night lows sink down to the 50's.
