For the period of the winter highs       are in the 30's; overnight lows at Arrowhead Lakes during the winter generally descend into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. A lake close by is Mirror Lake, and Arrowhead Lakes is a brilliant place to visit for more than one day, Pine Cove Beach Club and RV Resort is a brilliant place to camp nearby. After a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Belle Vernon is a pleasant location to spend a night or two; Sewickley Creek is a pleasant whitewater spot nearby. Arrowhead                  Lakes gets a typical amount of annual rain; July is the wettest month with most rain, and the driest month of the year is January. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a pleasant time here at Arrowhead Lakes. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Pittsburgh West Mifflin; in case you don’t mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Jacobs Creek. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side trip to Douglass Run. A good location to visit next to Arrowhead Lakes is Kelly Hollow, and Arrowhead Lakes is a spot with many visitors from Pittsburgh. Gotta ski!
