The beauty of Arrowhead Lake is reason enough to stop by. For the duration of the warm months at Arrowhead Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 20's while Arrowhead Lake night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 10's. | | up to Big Boulder and strap some skis to your feet, and there is a nice hiking trail close by called the Refuge Trail.
Near Arrowhead Lake you find the Boulder Field Trail which is a perfect hiking trail, and on a pleasant day you can take a hike along the Choke Creek Trail. for that. While you're here at Arrowhead Lake you can play some golf at Split Rock Country Club, and if you come at the right time of year, Tunkhannock Creek offers some splendid whitewater.
Since you might be in a lake visiting
mood you can always explore close by Locust Lake; if you need a site to stay Sullivan Trail Motel is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. Choke Creek is right next door to Arrowhead Lake and is always a pleasure to have a look
at. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Arrowhead Lake has to offer, you can camp at WT Family Camping. Arrowhead Lake Dam has great water scenery and it's near Arrowhead Lake, and a fine close by hotel is Best Western
Inn At Blakeslee Pocono.
The yearly rain here at Arrowhead Lake is about average; July is the wettest month with most rain; January is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for
everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Bear Creek; at Arrowhead Lake you always meet someone from East Stroudsburg.
