Throughout the summer months, highs commonly are in the 70's at Arlington Lake. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; after the sun is down through the wintertime temperatures at Arlington Lake descend into the 10's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Budget Host Inn Stroudsburg, and if you like skiing, you're in luck;       Alpine Mountain is reasonably near. Be careful coming to Arlington Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. At Arlington Lake you always meet someone from East Stroudsburg; after a long day outdoors Quality Inn Stroudsburg is a glorious place to spend a night or two. If the weather is beautiful, you acquire a good sight of The Knob from Arlington Lake. Lakes are such serene places, why not check out Flagler Reservoir near Arlington Lake, and if you                  came for an overnight stay Pocono Vacation Park Campground is a fine place to camp. Not far from Arlington Lake you obtain some great water scenery at Arlington Lake Dam, and as expected, all our national parks are magnificent spots to explore and Delaware National Scenic River is no exception. Some of the water nearby flows, like Big Meadow Run, and a gorgeous lake like Zacharias Pond is a fine location to stop by. The high level of rainfall makes Arlington Lake a reasonably wet site; the month with most of the rain is May, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Pocono Creek; if you want to play some golf, you're in luck because Great Bear Golf and Country Club is nearby. There's just no way anybody can get bored here at Arlington Lake. Arlington Lake is right by the Camelback Trail; there's whitewater on Brodhead Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. The Indian Trail offers hiking at its best; the skiing at Shawnee Mountain is great.
