Paddling on Tunkhannock Creek is so much fun, and on a great day you can visit Selfice Swamp, a swamp near Anglewood Lake. This lake is so wonderful. East Lake is a great lake in close proximity to Anglewood Lake; since you're here you can take a hike along the Refuge Trail. Pocono Lake Dam is an attention-grabbing       thing to check out, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Boulder Field Trail. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Best Western Inn at Blakeslee-Pocono is a fine choice, and float down the rapids of Lehigh River in a kayak. The skiing at Split Rock is glorious, and close to Anglewood Lake you find a golf course called Split Rock Country Club. But wait, there's more to do near Anglewood Lake. A pleasant close by                  hotel is Shawnee Village Resort; during your visit here you'll meet some people from East Stroudsburg for sure. High temperatures at Anglewood Lake during the days of summer are in the 70's with nighttime lows in the 50's.
