The top of Coal Knob is easily distinguished from Allegheny Reservoir; you can have a great hiking adventure along the Dewdrop Trail. Allegheny Reservoir sees pretty high levels of rain; through June this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. You'll meet a lot of folks from Warren here, and Seneca Pumped Storage Area is a nearby lake that you could have a look       at. Camping is available at Dewdrop Campground, and Bent Run is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit. If you get bored of Allegheny Reservoir, you could also go to nearby Kinzua Pumped Storage Reservoir; if the weather is great, you can go for a hike along the Rimrock Trail Morrison Trail. High temperatures at Allegheny Reservoir through the summertime months are in the 80's. For the duration of the dark hours of summer temperatures sink                  down into the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 10's to Allegheny Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful.
