Allegheny Reservoir is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. On a wonderful day you obtain a sight of Red Hill from Allegheny Reservoir; you might also want to pay a visit to Kittanning Gap while you're here at Allegheny Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Allegheny Reservoir gets a common amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is July; February on the other hand is the driest. Just can't get enough of Allegheny Reservoir. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Blue Knob since you're here, and during your spree here you'll meet some folks from Altoona for sure. This lake is so wonderful. at Allegheny Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Wright's Orchard Station Campground is a delightful site for that, and a picturesque lake like Kittanning Reservoir is a fine site to take a look at.

Altoona, Pa is a good site to get some rest, and whitewater paddling is fine on Clearfield Creek. You'll hit upon a charming lake called Duncansville Reservoir near Allegheny Reservoir. Throughout the warmest time of the year here
at Allegheny Reservoir, high temperatures typically reach the 80's, and the nighttime is fairly cooler of course, ordinarily in the 50's. Daytime highs during the wintertime are in the 30's with temperatures at Allegheny Reservoir
dipping down into the 10's all through winter nights.
For you golfers we recommend nearby Park Hills Country Club, and if you came to camp Zimmie's Campground is a brilliant spot to do that.
