Pennsylvania has many beautiful lakes and Allegheny Reservoir is one of them. If you feel like a little side tour, try Kittanning Gap, and if you came to camp Zimmie's Campground is a wonderful site to do that. This lake is so wonderful. You can run the rapids of Clearfield Creek near Allegheny Reservoir; why not spend some time golfing at a nearby golf course like Park Hills Country Club.

A quick trip to Dry Gap Run next to Allegheny Reservoir is a great idea; during your tour here you'll meet some folks from Altoona for sure. There's so much to do here at Allegheny Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Wright's Orchard Station Campground is a pleasant place for that; Storage Dam is an exciting thing to check out.
