    Alanconnie Lake is a great lake in an area with lots of outdoors fun all around. Alanconnie Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; the month of July is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. Deadman Run is a lovely stream that is worth visiting, and whitewater paddling is magnificent on Meadow Run. Lake George Dam is delightful and it's in close proximity to Alanconnie Lake; why not take a refreshing hike along the Mile  
   Trail.
This lake is so wonderful. Wisp is a great local ski area. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Tall Oaks Campground since you're here at Alanconnie Lake, and here at Alanconnie Lake you can catch a glimpse of Hager Hill. Paddling on Beaver Creek is so much fun, and a good nearby hotel is Leber's Log Cabins & Gift Shop.
If you need a location to stay Travelers Rest Motel is a wonderful choice; a wonderful spot to camp here at Alanconnie Lake
 
               is Benner's Meadow Run Camping and Cabins. And that's not all you can do here at Alanconnie Lake. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Alanconnie Lake; Great Gorge Trail is a splendid local trail, and if you've had enough of Alanconnie Lake, Bluegill Pond is close by. For the period of the warm months at Alanconnie Lake temperatures are typically in the 80's with night lows in the 60's. For the duration of the winter highs are generally in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Alanconnie Lake are in the 10's.
