All through the summer months, highs frequently are in the 80's at Ackleys Pond. Through the moonlight hours it's usually in the 50's. Highs through the wintertime are commonly in the 30's while the cold winter nights at Ackleys Pond are in the 10's. Dry warm beds await you at La Hacienda Inn, and Ackleys Pond is not far at all from Sayre. This lake is so wonderful. A great       site to camp here at Ackleys Pond is Riverside Acres Campground, and while you're here, you could take a look at Ellis Creek. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Irish Settlement Trail; get soaked paddling on Little Loyalsock Creek. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting stuff near Ackleys Pond. Paddling on Towanda Creek - South Branch is so much fun, and hiking along the Fox Hollow Spur is nice fun. From a rain point of view Ackleys Pond is a                  rather normal spot; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while January is frequently the driest month. Take a hike on the Rock Run Trail, and after a long day outdoors Comfort Inn Towanda is a fine location to spend a night or two.
