There are some delightful whitewater spots on Mehoopany Creek; after a long day outdoors Lovelton Hotel is a delightful site to spend a night or two. A swamp like Long Swamp right next door to Ackley Pond has lots of out of the ordinary things to see, and there's whitewater on Meshoppen       Creek for all you adrenaline kick people. Having a magnificent time at Ackley Pond is simple. Dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Towanda, and there are other places here than Ackley Pond, for example Mill Creek Reservoir.
