Oregon has many beautiful lakes and York Reservoir is one of them. You simply must go for the Blue Mountains. The snow is brilliant at Spout Springs, and Starr Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could stop by. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Anthony Lakes is near York Reservoir, and there's some flowing water close by, Coon Creek is a stream you can stop by during your stay. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Hale Spring Trail, and get your heart beating on the pleasant whitewater of Grande Ronde River. Man, is there a lot of fun things to do in the Blue Mountains. A delightful close by hotel is Best Western Rama Inn & Suites, and hiking along the Evans Trail is glorious fun. York Reservoir is pretty waterless usually; January is the wettest month with most snow, and the driest month of the year is July. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to York
Reservoir, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 30's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at York Reservoir temperatures dip to the 20's. While you're here at York
