York Reservoir is a nice lake to visit. York Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Blue Mountains. At York Reservoir all through the summertime months highs are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 30's with winter lows in the 20's overnight here at York Reservoir. You definitely have to fancy the Blue Mountains. Take a hike on the Summit Mount Emily Trail, and if you need a place to

This lake is so wonderful. York Reservoir is right by the Hale Spring Trail; striking scenery and brilliant skiing is what you obtain at Anthony Lakes. What would winter be without some skiing at Spout Springs; Bull Canyon is a splendid site to spend some time. Man, is there a lot of cool stuff to do in the Blue Mountains. Why not camp at La Grande Rendezvous RV Resort while you're here at York Reservoir. York Reservoir gets very little precipitation; through the month of January you get the most
snow around here, and July on the other hand is the driest. And if that's not sufficient, there's a lot more to do in the vicinity of York Reservoir. If you come at the right time of year, Grande Ronde River offers some great whitewater,
and Lagrande Super 8 Motel is a great spot to get some rest.
A glorious spot to camp here at York Reservoir is Grandview Campground; since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always stop by close by Feik Reservoirs. This
lake is so wonderful. Hiking along the Evans Trail is splendid fun, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Grande Ronde River.
