After a long day outdoors Best Western Garden Villa Inn is a great place to spend a night or two, and Smith Reservoir is a tremendous lake nearby. Wylie Reservoir is a beautiful lake in the Coast Ranges. And that's not all the things you can do here in the Coast Ranges. While you're here at Wylie Reservoir you will meet lots of people from nearby Roseburg; a good close by hotel is       Americas Best Value Inn/Roseburg. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is not for everybody but if it's for you then we recommend Umpqua River; a fine vista of striking Morgan Hill is available. A lot of rainfall falls at Wylie Reservoir; December is when you get the most rain here; the driest month is July. If you came for an overnight stay Umpqua Safari Camp Ground and RV is a great spot to camp, and lakes are such calm places, why not pop by                  Yoder Reservoir. There's whitewater on Umpqua River - South for all you adrenaline kick people, and Twin Rivers Vacation Park is a nice campground nearby. Just can't get enough of the Coast Ranges. Some of the water nearby flows, like East Fork Byron Creek, and going for a hike on the Grayback Trail is always a great adventure. This lake is so wonderful. All through the summer months, highs commonly are in the 80's at Wylie Reservoir, and through the night it cools down to the 50's.
