    The beauty of Woolfolk Reservoir is reason enough to stop by. Man, is there plenty of enjoyable stuff to do in the Coast Ranges. Huylers Spring is an inspiring place to stop at during your stay, and at Woolfolk Reservoir you always meet someone from Grants Pass. You imagine that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you don't mind getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Grave Creek; going for a hike on the South Fork Trail is always a fine adventure.  
   This lake is so wonderful. There's so much to do here at Woolfolk Reservoir that you need to camp here for a while, Grants Pass/Sunny Valley KOA is a great spot for that, and a lake close by is Wolf Creek Pools.
While staying at Woolfolk Reservoir you could always explore Schoolhouse Gulch; Woolfolk Reservoir is not the only place close by, Kennison Reservoir is a close by lake. This lake is one of the great places here in the Coast Ranges. Life's too
 
               short to enjoy all the fun stuff near Woolfolk Reservoir.
Woolfolk Reservoir gets a normal amount of yearly rain; the month with most of the rain is December while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Go for a hike on the Grayback Trail, and if you came to camp Sunny Valley Koa Kampground is a magnificent place to do that. This lake is so wonderful. A round of golf at nearby Red Mountain Golf Course is a magnificent way to kill some time, and a glorious nearby hotel is Grants Pass Travelodge.
You completely must adore the Coast Ranges. Good hiking is available along the Coffee Pot Trail; whitewater paddling is wonderful on Umpqua River - South. A quick tour to East Fork Rat Creek close to Woolfolk Reservoir is a good idea, and Grants Pass Super 8 Motel is a splendid place to get some rest. Summertime highs at Woolfolk Reservoir regularly tend to be in the 80's; the nighttime is a little chillier of course, usually in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 40's, and night lows during the winter for Woolfolk Reservoir tend to be in the 30's.
