Take a hike on the Bieberstedt Trail, and if you don’t have a problem getting drenched, you can always go whitewater paddling on Big Butte Creek. Camping is available at Medford Oaks Campark, and Rogue River - North Fork has a glorious whitewater paddling spot close by. This lake is so wonderful. Super 8 Motel Phoenix is a wonderful location to get some rest; why not take a refreshing hike along the Alco Trail. Near Woolfolk       Reservoir you come across splendid spots like Eagle Gulch, and Trammel Reservoir is a nearby lake that you could pop by. At Woolfolk Reservoir you don’t see much rain; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. That right there is lots already, but it carries on; Woolfolk Reservoir has it all. Gotta ski! Mt. Ashland is a great spot to do that. There's no way somebody can get bored here                  in the Southern Cascade Range. There's some attention-grabbing stuff to spot at Woolfolk Dam near Woolfolk Reservoir, and hiking is a popular thing to do around Woolfolk Reservoir; Buck Point Trail is a tremendous local trail. Yep, outdoors exciting stuff truly is plentiful here in the Southern Cascade Range. If you need a place to stay La Quinta Inn and Suites White City is a fine choice, and if you came for an overnight stay Fish Lake Resort is a great spot to camp. While you're here at Woolfolk Reservoir, you could also take a look at striking Woolfolk Reservoir Number Two, and as expected Lick Creek flows through this vicinity. This lake is one of the great places here in the Southern Cascade Range. Summertime highs at Woolfolk Reservoir generally tend to be in the 90's. For the period of the moonlight hours it's typically in the 50's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 40's with temperatures at Woolfolk Reservoir dipping down into the 30's through winter nights.
