Lake of the Woods is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. All the water falling down from the sky makes Lake of the Woods a wet spot; the wettest month of the year is mostly December, that's the one that rains the most, and July on the other hand is the driest. While you're here at Lake of the Woods you can take a hike along the Lower River Trail, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by nearby Frog Lake. Not enough hours

| | in a day to enjoy the Coast Ranges. If you came for an overnight stay Secret Camp Recreational Vehicle & Tent Park is a good site to camp, and the cheerful folks of Brookings like to hang out nearby.

summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 50's with temperatures at Lake of the Woods dipping down into the 30's all through winter nights.
Inn of the Beachcomber is a great location to
get some rest; why not camp at Lucky Lodge while you're here at Lake of the Woods. All the outdoors exciting stuff in the Coast Ranges will keep you coming back again and again. Have a fine hiking adventure along the Snow Camp Trail.
And if that's not enough, there's a lot more to do in close proximity to Lake of the Woods. Hiking along the Hazel Camp Trail is tremendous fun, and glide down the rapids of Elk River in a kayak.
