Beautiful Lake in the Woods has much to offer visitors. For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Lake in the Woods get into the 80's; the nighttime is quite cooler of course, commonly in the 40's. The winter comes with highs in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Lake in the Woods are in the 30's. The Red Butte Trail offers hiking at its best, and camping at Buckhead Mountain Campground is always a perfect experience. If only every spot

This lake is so wonderful. It's always brilliant
to stop at Hemlock Falls; why not take a refreshing hike along the Panther Trail. Yellow Jacket Glade is right here at Lake in the Woods; get soaked paddling on Umpqua River - North.
The high level of rainfall makes Lake in the
Woods a relatively wet location; November is the month that gets the most rain while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Having a perfect time in the Central Cascade Range is easy. Take a hike on the Mott Trail, and if you're interested in cool geologic traits try Flat Rock.
