Beautiful Woodpecker Lake has much to offer visitors. This lake is located in the wonderful Southern Cascade Range. If you came for an overnight stay Saddle Campground is a tremendous place to camp; going for a hike on the Blue Rock Trail is always a fine adventure. That right there is a lot of enjoyable things already but it goes on, the Southern Cascade Range has it all. Camping is available at White Pine Campground. Now, you may think that's heaps but

| | there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Woodpecker Lake. This is a wonderful area for folks who like lakes. Lilly Pond is a lake in the vicinity; Crater Lake National Park is one of the destinations that are nice to have a look at close by. You're in all probability keen on lakes, Budger Lake is one of those nearby, and Fourmile Lake Dam is a beautiful site, unquestionably worth checking out. This lake is so wonderful.  | Was at the lake today 7-2-08...Would like to see information on the site that gives information on fishing. Have heard there is some real nice fish in the lake. didn't get a chance to fish. Also let the folks know there is a primitive boat ramp and good camp sites right on the water. Be prepared for lots of mosqitios. But it is beautiful !!!!!!!... |
