If you are traveling by, why not stop by Wood Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. Wood Reservoir is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Riverpark RV Resort is a pleasant local campground, and Grants Pass Golf Club is a golf course nearby. The amount of rainfall that falls at Wood Reservoir is close to the national average; November is the wettest month with most rain, and July on the other hand is the driest. So many amusing things to do here in

| | the Siskiyou Mountains, too perfect to be true. Camping at Moon Mountain RV Resort is always a fine experience, and going for a hike on the Kerby Peak Trail is always a nice adventure.
You're sure to run into some wonderful folks from Grants Pass here, and Pennington Mountain is clearly visible from Wood Reservoir. All year is a brilliant time in the Siskiyou Mountains if you like the outdoors. A lake nearby is FS Reservoir; a pleasant close by hotel is Holiday | |

Inn Express Grants Pass, Or. Summertime brings highs in the 70's to Wood Reservoir with nighttime lows in the 50's. During the winter highs are in the 40's; nighttime lows in the 30's for Wood Reservoir.
Some of the water close
by flows, like Black Canyon Creek, and there are perfect places to discover along the Oregon Caves Trail. This lake is one of the great places here in the Siskiyou Mountains. You can run the rapids of Rogue River close to Wood Reservoir.
But wait, there's more to do in the neighborhood of Wood Reservoir. Near Wood Reservoir you find the Grayback Clapboard Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail, and Best Western Grants Pass Inn is a brilliant location to get some
rest. This lake is so wonderful. Wood Reservoir is in close proximity to Maple Gulch which is positively worth a visit, and you can take a little journey to Lippert Dam Number Two if you're here at Wood Reservoir.
