Good hiking is available along the Twin Lakes Trail, and if you're visiting from La Grande, you won't be the only one. This lake is so wonderful. Henrys Reservoir is a glorious lake near Wolf Creek Reservoir, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Rama Inn & Suites is a pleasant place to spend a night or two. Be careful coming to Wolf Creek Reservoir, you might not ever wanna return home again. There are pleasant places to discover along the Beatty Creek

| | Trail, and Wolf Creek Dam is not far at all from Wolf Creek Reservoir. The skiing at Anthony Lakes is tremendous; a quick visit to Clear Creek is definitely a good idea. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Grande Ronde River, and lakes are such calm places, why not have a look at Huddleston Reservoir. Goff Spring is an inspiring place to have a look at while here, and a delightful close by hotel is La Grande Travelodge. | |

It is very dry here at Wolf Creek Reservoir mostly; January is when you get the most snow here, and July on the other hand is the driest. Go for a hike on the Rock Creek Lake Trail; if you came for an overnight stay North Fork
Anthony Campground is a perfect spot to camp. If you want a delightful time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Wolf Creek Reservoir. This lake is so wonderful. There are some splendid whitewater spots on Grande Ronde River;
camping is available at Rocky Ford Campground. Through the summer months, highs mostly are in the 80's at Wolf Creek Reservoir, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 30's, and winter nights come with lows in the 20's to Wolf Creek Reservoir.
