So many fun things in the Central Cascade Range, just amazing. Good hiking is available along the Grass Mountain Trail, and you can run the rapids of Brice Creek. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Windfall Lake; Rocky Point Way is a great local trail; Willamette River - Middle Fork is a glorious whitewater spot close by. A lake close by is Gertrude Lake. There's so much to       do here at Windfall Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Oakridge Mobile Home Park is a glorious spot for that. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop by Catching Reservoir while you're here at Windfall Lake; it's nearby, and you can stay the night at Errin Campground. This lake is so wonderful. Windfall Lake is a wet location that gets a large amount of rainfall; the wettest month of the year is typically November, that's the one that rains                  the most while July is the month with the least amount of precipitation. And that's not everything there is to do here in the Central Cascade Range. The Packard Creek Trail offers hiking at its best, and one of the overriding marks of the surroundings of Windfall Lake is Grass Mountain. This lake is one of the great places here in the Central Cascade Range. Through the warm days of summer at Windfall Lake highs are mostly in the 80's. Summer overnight lows plunge down to the 50's.
