Summertime highs at Wind Lake regularly tend to be in the 70's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Wind Lake throughout the wintertime usually dip into the 30's. Dry warm beds await you at Falcon's Crest Inn on Mt. Hood, and you'll meet a lot of people from Hood River here. This lake is one of the great places       here in the Central Cascade Range. This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Barlow Campground if you're here at Wind Lake; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Timberline Lodge is relatively near. You'll beyond doubt wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the fun things in the Central Cascade Range. Take a hike on the Tom Dick Trail, and Wind Creek Basin is a brilliant place. If you love the outdoors you'll love it here in the Central Cascade Range.                  If you need a place to stay Falcon's Crest Inn On Mt. Hood is a wonderful choice, and Tom Dick and Harry Mountain can be distinguished from Wind Lake. Sandy River is a pleasant whitewater spot in the vicinity of Wind Lake, and camping at Wind Lake is delightful fun, Twin Bridges Campground is a delightful local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Wind Lake; Mirror Lake Trail is a tremendous local trail, and the beauty of mother nature reveals herself at Yocum Falls. A good deal of precipitation falls at Wind Lake; the month with most of the rain is December, and July meanwhile is the driest month. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this site. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Wind Creek Trail. While staying at Wind Lake you could always explore Little Zigzag Canyon; Wind Lake is not the only site nearby, Enid Lake is a nearby lake. Now, you may assume that's heaps but there's even more exciting stuff to do here at Wind Lake. If you don't mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Zigzag River; the snow is nice at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl.   Falcon's Crest Inn on Mt.
