    A visit to Wind Lake is always a good idea. The slopes of Mt. Hood Ski Bowl are so inviting noone can resist, and if you're here, you could also stop at gorgeous Veda Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Wind Lake a wet location; the month with most of the rain is December while July is typically the driest month. You completely ought to love the Central Cascade Range. A tremendous nearby hotel is Mount Hood Inn; Wind Creek Basin is a wonderful  
   spot.
You'll meet a lot of people from Hood River here; what would winter be without some skiing at Timberline Lodge. Through the summertime months here at Wind Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 70's, and the overnight is quite chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. All through the winter the highs are usually in the 40's, and nighttime lows at Wind Lake during the winter regularly plunge into the 30's. The Central Cascade Range scenery is always
 
               beautiful.
Man, is there lots of enjoyable things to do in the Central Cascade Range. There are some pleasant whitewater spots on Sandy River; if you came for an overnight stay Barlow Campground is a pleasant location to camp. So much amusing stuff to do here in the Central Cascade Range, too brilliant to be true. Whohoo, so many enjoyable things in one place! Wind Lake is excellent! Whispering Woods (Vri) is a perfect site to get some rest; a short journey to Yocum Falls is always worthwhile.
This lake is so wonderful. Tom Dick and Harry Mountain is clearly visible from Wind Lake, and Twin Bridges Campground is a fine local campground. This lake is so wonderful. There is a wonderful hiking trail next to Wind Lake called the Mirror Lake Trail; there's whitewater on Zigzag River for all you adrenaline people. Going for a hike on the Tom Dick Trail is always a good adventure, and while you're here why not pop by Little Zigzag Canyon.
And if you're still looking for more outdoors fun things just keep reading. You'll stumble on a gorgeous lake called Mirror Lake near Wind Lake, and close by you hit upon the Wind Creek Trail which is a brilliant hiking trail.
