The slopes of Mt. Hood Ski Bowl are so inviting noone can resist, and if you're here, you could also stop at gorgeous Veda Lake. All the water falling down from the sky makes Wind Lake a wet location; the month with most of the rain is December while July is typically the driest month. You completely ought to love the Central Cascade Range. A tremendous nearby hotel is Mount Hood Inn; Wind Creek Basin is a wonderful       spot. You'll meet a lot of people from Hood River here; what would winter be without some skiing at Timberline Lodge. Through the summertime months here at Wind Lake, high temperatures typically get into the 70's, and the overnight is quite chillier of course, commonly in the 50's. Whispering Woods (Vri) is a perfect site to get some rest; a short journey to Yocum Falls is always worthwhile. This lake is so wonderful. Tom Dick and Harry Mountain is clearly visible from Wind Lake, and Twin Bridges Campground is a fine local campground. This lake is so wonderful. There is a wonderful hiking trail next to Wind Lake called the Mirror Lake Trail; there's whitewater on Zigzag River for all you adrenaline people. Going for a hike on the Tom Dick Trail is always a good adventure, and while you're here why not pop by Little Zigzag Canyon.
