Go to Winchester Reservoir if you want to go to a nice lake. Through the months of summer, highs commonly are in the 80's at Winchester Reservoir, and the nighttime is a tad cooler of course, usually in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's; nighttime lows all through the winter for Winchester Reservoir tend to be in the 30's. This lake is located in the wonderful Coast Ranges. So many enjoyable things to do in the Coast Ranges, not enough time.

of rain falls at Winchester Reservoir; of all the months in a year December is the one with the most rain, and the driest month of the year is July. There's so much to do here at Winchester Reservoir that you need to camp here for
a while, Alameda Ave Trailer Park is a good location for that, and Umpqua River - South has a good whitewater paddling spot close by.
